Baseball Hits 26 Update 1.1.0 arrives May 26, 2026 – bringing one of the biggest updates we’ve released so far.
This update introduces brand-new progression systems, deeper customization, major gameplay improvements, expanded social features, and a huge list of fixes and optimizations across the entire game.
A number of these changes also came directly from player feedback, including matchmaking improvements, new roster tools, chat upgrades, camera updates, and major Android optimizations.
Let’s break it all down.
Community Requested Features & Improvements
Many of the changes in this update came directly from community feedback.
- Easier Progression Matchmaking: Progression games now use adjusted matchmaking buckets to create fairer and more approachable matchups outside of events.
- Independent Event & Progression Lockouts: Pitcher and HR Mode lockouts are now handled separately between Event Games and regular Progression games.
- Scroll Through Players on Player Detail Screens: You can now move directly between players from the Player Detail screen without returning to your roster each time.
- Inactive Player Filtering: Added new roster filters so you can quickly view inactive players in My Team.
- Improved Club Placement in Leaderboards: Backend improvements help create better-balanced leaderboard groups for clubs.
- @user Mentions in Club & Global Chat: You can now directly mention other users in both Club Chat and Global Chat.
- Camera Improvements: Camera presentation has been improved with clearer inning-ending framing and gameplay presentation updates.
- Win Chance Display Improvements: Extreme win chance values are now displayed as “<20%” or “>80%” to avoid misleading precision.
- Android Performance Improvements: A major Android optimization pass improves frame pacing, rendering performance, stability, and overall gameplay smoothness.
- Extra Innings Bonus Levels: The Season Pass now continues beyond completion with bonus reward levels players can earn daily.
New Feature: Tower Events
Tower Events are an entirely new progression-focused event type arriving in June.
Instead of competing primarily for leaderboard placement, players will climb through a vertical tower of increasingly difficult levels by winning consecutive Home Run games.
Tower Event Features
- Multi-level progression structure
- Win streak gameplay to advance
- Bigger rewards at higher levels
- Replayable towers after completion
- Retry opportunities after losses
- Batter lockouts unique to Tower Events
- Manual-play requirements on final games of levels
- Time-limited level progression
This mode serves as the foundation for future expansions to the mode that have been highly requested by the community.
Equippable Stadiums & Lighting
Stadiums are now collectible visual items.
Players can collect, favorite, and equip stadiums featuring unique environmental lighting setups including:
- Sunset
- Dawn
- Cloudy daytime lighting
This expands the visual customization system beyond bats, uniforms, and animations into the stadium environment itself.
New 3D End-of-Game Sequences
Simmed games now end with new cinematic 3D menu sequences.
After each game, players will now see:
- 3D player models in uniform
- Win and loss animations
- Celebration and frustration moments
- Player of the Game sequences
- Top Performer callouts
These updates help make simmed games feel more rewarding and dynamic.
Profile Icons from Visual Item Badges
Players can now equip owned Visual Item Badges as their Profile Icon.
Your Profile Icon now appears throughout the game, including:
- Chat
- Leaderboards
- Matchup screens
- Club lists
- In-game HUDs
- Celebration sequences
- User Profiles
This adds a brand-new layer of identity and personalization.
Season Pass: Extra Innings Bonus Levels
The Season Pass now continues after completion through Extra Innings Bonus Levels.
Once the main pass is completed:
- Bonus reward levels unlock
- Daily completion limits apply
- Season Point overflow continues automatically
- Reward tiers can vary by player eligibility
