Heroes, it is time to rally your guild.
Guild Wars are coming to Heroes vs. Hordes, introducing a new competitive mode where every contribution matters. Your guild will face rival guilds in a season-long contest of teamwork, strategy, and determination.
Complete shared quests. Build your War Score. Win matches. Climb the ranks. Then claim rewards based on what you achieve together.
How Guild Wars Work
Guild Wars take place across eight-week Seasons. Once your guild registers for a Season, it will compete in weekly Matches against other guilds in the same rank.
Each Match lasts six days and features a new set of Guild Quests every day. These quests challenge guild members to complete activities throughout the game, turning everyday progress into points for the entire guild.
Both guilds receive the same quests, so victory comes down to which team can rally its members and make the strongest push.
Complete Quests and Build Your War Score
During each Match Day, every eligible guild member can contribute to the active Guild Quests.
Each quest is a direct contest between the two guilds. When the day ends, the guild with the most progress on that quest claims its War Score. The scores update regularly throughout the day, so you can check the matchup, see where your guild needs help, and decide where your next run can make the biggest difference.
Once the Match ends, the guild with the higher War Score wins.
Every Guild Member Can Make a Difference
Guild Wars are built around shared goals. Whether you complete runs, take on bosses, upgrade your heroes, or tackle other featured objectives, your actions help move your guild forward.
Your efforts also count toward your Personal Contribution. By participating throughout the Match, you can reach personal milestones and claim rewards of your own, even while working toward the guild’s larger victory.
The strongest contributor from each side will also be recognized as the Match Day MVP and receive an additional reward.
Players who joined their guild less than 24 hours before an active Match will need to wait until the next Match to contribute.
Rise Through the Guild Ranks
Every guild begins its Guild Wars journey in the Bronze league. Winning Matches earns Guild Score, while losses can reduce it.
As your Guild Score grows, your guild can climb through the ranks:
- Wooden
- Bronze
- Silver
- Gold
- Platinum
- Diamond
For the first Guild War, the top 200 Guilds will be placed in the Silver league to start, but they will have to work together to keep their spot and/or move up!
Guilds compete against opponents within their current rank, creating tougher battles as they rise. At the end of the Season, your guild’s final rank determines its Season rewards and starting position for the next competition.
Inactive Guilds will be demoted in the Wooden league for the season if there is no activity after 24 hours.
Fight Together, Earn Together
Guild Wars introduce new ways to earn rewards through both guild performance and personal participation.
Rewards may include:
- Exclusive Guild Wars currency
- Heroes and weapons
- Hero and weapon shards
- Tokens and other in-game currencies
You will also be able to spend Guild Wars currency in a dedicated Guild Wars Shop, featuring a mix of fixed and refreshed rewards each season.
Prepare for War
Guild Wars are more than a leaderboard. They are a test of how well your guild can work as one.
Coordinate your efforts. Watch the score. Help secure the quests that matter most. A single run could be the difference between victory and defeat.
