The Ghostbusters are back for another round. Starting October 8, a second wave of Ghostbusters heroes joins Heroes vs. Hordes, alongside the new Ecto Goggles weapon and Terror Dogs pet.
Update 11.5.0 also brings new companions, more events, and improvements that help you spend less time clicking and more time taking on the horde. Here’s what’s coming.
Ghostbusters Wave 2 Starts October 8
More Ghostbusters heroes. New gear. One terrifying companion.
Get ready for the second wave of the collaboration, featuring:
- New Ghostbusters heroes joining the fight.
- Ecto Goggles, a new weapon.
- Terror Dogs, a new pet.
Mark October 8 on your calendar. The Ghostbusters aren’t done busting ghosts just yet!
Meet Your New Companions
Your pet collection is getting two new arrivals:
- Butterflies, a new Common pet.
- Cemar the Raccoon, a new Legendary pet.

A great run deserves a smooth finish. Update 11.5.0 brings improvements to rewards, Guild Wars, and more.
Storyline Soundtracks
Storyline heroes now play the soundtrack from their own storyline when you’re playing with them. Bring a little more of their world into every run.
Guild Wars
We’ve added three improvements to help you prepare and review your results:
- An additional data refresh button on the current-day screen.
- The option to equip heroes directly from the Collection Day screen.
- A clearer overview of your results on the Season Ended screen.
Automatic Reward Doubling
Own the No Ads Bundle? Your rewards now double automatically after a run. No extra click needed.
Freecash: Enable Ads Again
A new “Enable Ads Again” option lets you turn ads back on to complete Freecash quests. Remember to turn them off again afterwards.
Dice Dash
A new slider lets you grab multiple dice at once. Pick your amount and keep things rolling.
Hero Tales Are Coming Soon
There’s a new chapter on the horizon: Hero Tales.
