Chain Hook Sweep
Inkbeard’s main attack is Chain Hook Sweep.
He throws his hook in a wide arc, damaging enemies along both the hook and chain. At the end of the swing, the hook pulls back, dealing reduced return damage as it snaps through enemies again.
This gives Inkbeard strong coverage in front of him and makes every swing feel heavy, sharp, and dangerous.
With more projectile count, Inkbeard can throw additional hooks around himself, creating even wider zones of destruction.
Cross Marks the Treasure
At Level 20, Inkbeard unlocks Cross Marks the Treasure.
A red cross appears on the battlefield for a short time. While Inkbeard stands on it, his area increases, but he also takes increased damage.

Inkbeard’s ultimate is pure spectacle.
When the meter fills, Release the Kraken summons massive tentacles from random locations across the screen. Each tentacle slams nearby enemies, dealing burst damage in its area.
The screen darkens.

It’s a huge battlefield moment that adds both damage and area control when enemies start closing in.
Evolution: Dead Man’s Reach
Inkbeard’s Evolution, Dead Man’s Reach, adds a Phantom Chain that constantly sweeps around him.
This 360° hook attack damages enemies around Inkbeard and leaves behind a dramatic teal trail. It turns his pirate power into constant pressure, making him even more dangerous when surrounded.
The closer enemies get, the more they regret it.
