Carl Grimes has grown into a capable and confident survivor, forged by his apocalyptic upbringing. He is comfortable both inside the walls of his safe haven, and out in the danger beyond them. He can fight, shoot, and make life-or-death decisions without hesitation, standing alongside the group as an equal.
