Version 1.2.0: Survivor Traits, Dead City Survivors, and More
Version 1.2.0 has arrived in The Walking Dead: Aftermath, bringing new characters from The Walking Dead: Dead City, Survivor traits, expanded Power-Ups, combat updates, recruitment improvements, and a range of fixes.
New Faces from Dead City
More survivors from The Walking Dead: Dead City are coming to Aftermath.
Dillard joins the fight this month as a new Combat Survivor, while Hershel Rhee arrives as the new Base Survivor featured in the Dead City Battle Pass.
Complete Battle Pass objectives, earn rewards, and add Hershel Rhee to your Base.
Beth Joins the Fight
Beth is joining the Combat Survivor roster and will soon be available through the Alliance Exchange Shop.
Support your Alliance, contribute to its progress, and work toward adding Beth to your group.
Build a Stronger Group with Survivor Traits
Survivors now have traits that can provide power boosts when you bring certain Survivors into Alliance Run, Boss Arena, and Survivor Trials.
Pay attention to each activity’s trait requirements and build a group that can take advantage of the available boosts.
Survivor Trials also has a new in-game access banner, making it easier to find and enter the mode.
Michonne Combat Updates
Michonne’s attacks have been updated to better distinguish the effects of her abilities.
Crescent Strike’s combo finisher now launches a projectile instead of creating a shockwave. Whirlwind has also been changed from a slash attack to a shockwave.
Status Effect Updates
Status effects have received several underlying improvements.
Shock-triggering attacks now apply their damage correctly. Limits and cooldowns have also been added to prevent too many Shock effects from being applied to the same target simultaneously.
Status effects now support additional stats, including values for damage and duration, allowing their behavior to be defined more consistently.
Survivor Recruitment Updates
Survivor recruitment has been rebalanced to provide a more streamlined experience.
Recruitment probabilities have been adjusted, and the guaranteed reward has been significantly improved, making continued recruitment more rewarding.
