Feel the roar of the crowd with easy-to-learn mechanics across four unique game modes – featuring in-game opening week celebrations to kick off a new era of mobile baseball

The 2026 season is days away, but the first pitch has already been thrown on mobile. We’re excited to launch Baseball Hits 26 today, featuring superstar catcher Cal Raleigh as the cover athlete. Available now on the App Store and Google Play, Baseball Hits 26 gives fans a head start on the action, letting them step out onto the digital diamond with the pros before stadiums open for the season. Launch celebrations begin today with special in-game events and rewards, giving fans a chance to experience the electricity of a new season right from their phones.

Optimized for mobile, Baseball Hits 26 delivers authentic pro-style action without the pro-level learning curve. Intuitive one-touch controls, including “tap to swing” at the plate and “tap to pitch” on the mound, allow players at any skill level to jump into the action from the very first at-bat. Every pitch, hit, and home run feels major league with lifelike motion-capture animation, realistic baseball physics, and stats based on real-life players, rewarding enthusiasts who want to dive into the data. Whether chasing the perfect pitch or crushing moonshots, every swing delivers.

Players can recruit, collect, and upgrade over 800 officially licensed MLB Players Inc. baseball superstars for their roster, including cover athlete Cal Raleigh, five-tool dynamo José Ramírez, generational slugger Juan Soto, power pitcher strikeout ace Tarik Skubal, lightning-fast playmaker Corbin Carroll, and run-producing masher Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Players will also be able to mix current MLBPI legends with top-ranked rising stars like Jackson Holliday, power-hitting breakout talents like Junior Caminero, and postseason breakout arms like Trey Yesavage. Player ratings and tendencies are inspired directly by real-world performance. This realism allows fans to make in-game decisions grounded in how the sport is played at the highest level across four unique game modes.

  • Hits Mode: The core offensive experience. While players can jump in and time swings with a single tap, success on the leaderboards requires managing pinch hitters, tracking pitcher tendencies, and executing situational base-running strategies.
  • Pitching Ace: A defense-focused mode that puts users in control of the mound. Beyond simple accuracy, players must master pitch selection and location to outsmart professional hitters based on their real-world tendencies.
  • Total Baseball: The complete, nine-inning experience. This mode bridges the gap between casual play and deep simulation, combining fast-paced hitting and pitching with the long-term strategy of managing a full roster.
  • Home Run King: A high-octane competition centered on clearing the fences. Perfect for quick sessions, this mode rewards players who can master the physics of the “sweet spot” to climb the global power-hitting leaderboards.

“When we designed Baseball Hits 26, we wanted to capture the soul of the sport in an experience that moves at the speed of mobile,” said Mike DeLaet, President of Ares Interactive. “We’ve built a game that is instantly accessible for newcomers, yet layered with the strategic depth and real-world stats that analytics enthusiasts crave. “Our goal at MLB Players, Inc. is to find new, authentic ways for fans to connect with their favorite athletes on the big stage,” said Evan Kaplan, President of MLB Players, Inc. “Baseball Hits 26 does exactly that by putting the power and personality of the world’s best players directly into fans’ hands. The veteran team at 7th Inning Studio has a proven track record of honoring the game’s nuances while delivering a high-energy experience that feels true to the sport.”

Built around connection and competition, the Baseball Hits 26 emphasizes social play through community-driven Clubs. Fans can team up for live events and tournaments, chase leaderboard rankings individually or as a group, and unlock shared rewards that mirror the energy of a real clubhouse.

7th Inning is a new studio founded by Ares Interactive and staffed by several former developers of the MLB Tap Sports™ Baseball franchise.
